February Snow Storm

The beginning of February brought several feet of snow.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The photo above and the next photo shows the path I shoveled for Forrest to get to the house from the street when he returned from Texas.

The walls of snow where so high the boys weren't sure which way to go.

Forrest arrived to a snow covered car in long term parking.

Forrest snow blowing the driveway.

Snow cleared from the patio.

Diane standing in the snow.

After finally getting all of the snow cleared
a second storm two days later brought another foot of snow.

Everything we had cleared had to be cleared again.

Forrest tackled getting as much snow off the roof as he could.

We kept an area clear for the boys to go potty in.

The boys in their winter coats.

Hershey wanted to take his ball outside.

We told him he had to leave it on the deck so he wouldn't lose it in the snow.

Staying warm inside while Mom and Dad clear the snow.

Christmas Boys

Hershey and Denver wore their new matching Christmas shirts that were gifts from some dear friends! I was able to get these pictures so you can read their shirts.
Hershey our 4 year old toy poodle / terrier mix.

Denver - our 11 year old yorkie / poodle mix.

First Snow

We had out first snow just days after the POD was picked up in the first week of December.
We always love the first snow.
This was a nice wet snow that stuck to the trees.
Thankfully the driveway melted quickly.

Early December

The Pod gets picked up - HURRAY!!!!!
It is quite amazing how they are able to load and unload PODS.

Nice & shiny!
Now we just have to unload the POD and set up the interior with the old kitchen cabinets. That will be our Thanksgiving holiday project.

POD Delivery

Projects never end at The Troutman's!!
In October we decided to tackle giving our garage a face lift. On Oct. 9th we had a POD delivered so that we could move as much out of the garage as possible.

Inspecting the POD.
A garage full of our old kitchen cabinets that we hope to use for storage and other "stuff" that will be moved to the POD while work is being done on the garage.

Staining the Deck

In October we tackled staining the deck. A project we wanted to get done before winter gets here. I didn't realize how many surfaces there actually are. One weekend we stained the horizontal surfaces and following weekend we stained the vertical surfaces. It was a lot of work but we are thrilled with the outcome. We used an Australian Timber Oil by Cabot.
