Day 11 - Removing Steps and Cleaning the Driveway

To make room for the new deck footers Forrest had to remove the steps that go to our sidwalk. He discovered a concrete pad under the landscaping timbers the previous owners had used to build the steps.

Forrest put pavers from the driveway to the front door so we have something to walk on (looks like I need to clean out the front garden area).

Since it rained last week when the concrete was delivered the driveway became covered with mud from the truck huge tires and other construction vehciles so I power washed the driveway. Forrest reminded me that it will probably get messed up again but at least for now the driveway is clean.
